Why We Need Multi-Colored Lenses

SightTrax is a leading provider of dynamic vision assessments. Dynamic vision is how our eyes locate three-dimensional objects in space, which is critical to accurate eye-hand coordination. An important part of dynamic vision is contrast sensitivity such as between a ball and its background. Our eyes see colors differently depending on lighting conditions. Different colored lenses will enhance the ball against its background. Selecting the right colored lens will increase contrast sensitivity providing more accurate vision information and improving eye-hand coordination.

Insert for Prescription Lens

Insert snaps into frame

Our sets come with an economical and sturdy prescription lens insert frame. It has its own nose piece making it easy to change when you change lens color. You should be able to get the lenses made in your prescription by going to any of the chain opticians such as Lenscrafters or your own optician. This allows the lenses to set at the same distance from your eyes as typical eyeglasses. Unless you have an extreme forward head tilt, the frames will not be noticeable when shooting.
